Composer, Lyricist and Writer
Olly has written two musicals - Messy (2017) and Rockstar (2019), and is currently working on his third. He has composed and arranged music for the stage, screen and concert hall, and his work has been performed at the Barbican, the Queen Elizabeth Hall, the Brighton Dome and the BFI London Film Festival, amongst other venues. As well as composing, writing, and arranging, he is a choral conductor, teacher, and tour guide, and lives in Brighton. Rockstar rises again!
A revised festival-friendly version of Rockstar was performed in the theatre space at The Curzon pub in Brighton on August 19th-21st. A new song - 'Devil's Bargain' - has been added, other songs have been revised, and the story focuses more sharply on the love triangle and creative differences that threaten to tear the band apart.
