Olly recently created Louche Bouche Productions, which aims to develop and promote new and original musical theatre, particular that which focuses on LGBT+ characters. Amongst other projects, Olly Medlicott has written a number of plays, including RuggerBuggers, a play about the experiences of five gay men in a rugby team; Promise, a play depicting the transition from the hope and idealism of student life to the reality of unexpected pressures and unfufulfilled dreams in adulthood; and the music for a short film called Furnace Four. He is a prolific choral composer and arranger, and was a founder member of Barbershop-o-gram, a London-based close-harmony group.
